Installation
The installation of the Mimbox requires preparations from the customer. When the right preparations are done the installation should be smooth. Make sure to have booked the laundry room and prepare for the washing machines to be off for 2 hours.

Mimbox measurements
Make sure beforehand that the Mimbox and water collection unit fits in the laundry room. In the optimal installation the two units are placed close to one another to ease the pumping between them.
The preparations are the customers responsibility and is important for a smooth and quick installation.

Laundry room preparations
Make sure:
There is a tap within 3 meters from Mimbox placement
There is a socket (230v) within 2 meters from Mimbox placement
There is a sewer preferably within 3 meters from Mimbox placement
Installation kit
The Mimbox is delivered with an installation kit that includes a hose, pipes, clamps and an extra antenna. Thats all the material needed for a standard installation.
The installer is responsible for bringing tools and extra material:
Screwdriver with bit TX25
Extra pipes and fittings Ø32 mm
Tool for cutting plastic pipes
Screwdriver for hose clamp
Water level
Pipes and fittings for outlet from washing machine Ø75 mm
Plug, for use if only one washing machine is used
Maintenance
The Mimbox needs some care taking to perform as good as possible and to prevent future issues. There are two things included in the maintenance:
Emptying the filter bag
Cleaning water collection unit
Empty filter bag
The filter bag is where the microplastics and other dirt end up. The Mimbox indicates when the filter bag needs emptying by blinking. Empty the filter bag in the trash can and put it back. Avoid cleaning the bag in the sink, microplastics will be released with the waste water.
Open the hatch and take out the container.
Take out the filter bag and empty the content in the trash. Put the filter bag back in the container. (Check if there are special requirements for deposit depending on types of site). Clean it if needed, and place the filter in the container again.
Clean the inside with a damp cloth.
Put the filter container back and make sure the hatch is closed. Clean the outside with a cloth.
Cleaning water collection unit
The water collection unit needs to be cleaned preferably every week depending on what kind of laundry room and the level of dirt. By cleaning regularly you give the Mimbox the best chance to perform as it should.
Take out the filter basket and clean it with the scraper.
Push the service button for 3 seconds to start the cleaning sequence.
The water collection unit is sprayed with water, use the brush to clean it.
Put the filter basket back.
Make sure the pipes from the washing machine have the right angle.
Service
Since the Mimbox processes grey water on a daily basis it needs to be cleaned and serviced regularly. The service is only to be done by trained service technicians since the service involves opening the Mimbox up and that involves a safety risk.
